Jupiter CLASSIC 208A wall light, satin brass, 1 × E27 / 15 W

Jupiter CLASSIC 208A is a single-arm wall light with a round backplate and a pale shade that narrows towards the top. Its satin-brass finish combines subtly textured surfaces with shinier edging. The upper and lower shade rims echo the body colour, while a small ball finishes the vertical section beneath the lamp holder.

A shade rather than an exposed candle bulb

The shade surrounds the single light source and remains open underneath. Unlike a candle-style wall light with an uncovered bulb, its front view is therefore defined mainly by the pale cone. The circular backplate and horizontal arm give the fitting a clearly ordered outline on the wall. The manufacturer's photographs show both switched-on and switched-off views, allowing the two appearances to be compared. The light colour visible in those photographs does not indicate a fixed colour temperature built into this fitting.

Choose the E27 bulb separately

There is one E27 lamp holder, and the manufacturer specifies 1 × E27 / 15 W. The light source is replaceable and is not supplied. A separate bulb with the correct cap is therefore required, and the stated power limit must be observed. Brightness and colour temperature depend on the bulb selected, rather than on the brass-coloured finish. Having an E27 cap does not make a bulb of any wattage suitable. The fitting operates on a 230 V supply.

Classical detailing and wall placement

The tapered shade, rounded trims and decorative lower finial support a classical or modern-classic interior scheme. This wall light can supplement lighting in a living room, bedroom or dining room, as well as an entrance hall or corridor. Its arm places the shade away from the wall, so check the proposed position against walking routes and opening doors before installation. It is supplementary lighting rather than a fitting with verified directional reading-light performance. The manufacturer specifies a five-year warranty.
