LED Labs PROFI 16-2033-03 is a single-colour 24 V DC LED strip with a cold-white 6500 K light colour. The 5 m reel carries 2216 SMD LEDs; the manufacturer states 1200 LEDs per reel, or 240 LEDs per metre. Its 10 mm PCB width and 25 mm cutting interval are useful figures when planning the run and the available mounting space.

Cold-white light

The declared luminous flux is 1347 lm/m and the power is 15 W/m. A 6500 K colour temperature produces cold-white light, so it is worth comparing it with the colour of nearby lighting before specifying the strip. CRI of at least 90 describes high colour rendering. These values apply per metre; the planned total length must therefore be considered when selecting the power supply.

Installation parameters

This model operates at 24 V DC. It is not a finished luminaire for direct connection to mains voltage, so the installation needs compatible 24 V components. The manufacturer specifies IP65 HS and an operating temperature range from -20°C to +45°C. The stated protection rating does not replace an assessment of the complete installation, its connections and its mounting location.

Before fitting

Check the 5 m reel length, 10 mm width and 25 mm cut section against the design before installation. The manufacturer declares an L70/B50 lifetime of 26,200 hours and more than 30,000 switching cycles. Do not cut the strip outside its marked sections. Power and installation components are selected separately for the requirements of the individual project.
