LED Neon Flex 3Y VERTICAL 18-1120-44 produces red light through a flexible silicone enclosure with an 8 × 8 mm square cross-section. Its vertical bending direction distinguishes it from an ordinary flat LED strip. This is a linear light source for illuminated outlines and decorative designs, rather than a finished advertising sign.
Planning the shape and cut positions
The VERTICAL version lets a design follow the specified vertical bending direction. The manufacturer also identifies three-dimensional installations as a possible use. When planning a contour, consider both the length of the route and the plane in which the neon needs to bend: choosing the appropriate bending version is part of designing the installation.
The 8 × 8 mm cross-section provides a reference for the space occupied by the neon itself. Cut marks occur every 4.17 cm, so a section should be matched to these positions rather than cut at an arbitrary point. The dimension drawing in the gallery shows the cross-section and spacing between cut positions.
Red decorative light and power
This variant emits red light; it is neither an RGB version nor a white strip for task lighting. The manufacturer lists advertising and decoration in shops, restaurants, cafés and residential spaces among its uses. Wall and ceiling installations are also identified. The final outline comes from the installation design, not from a preformed shape supplied by the product.
Operation requires 24 V DC, with a rated consumption of 10 W per metre. Power selection therefore needs to account for the length of the section being used and its demand. This neon should not be treated as a light source for direct connection to mains voltage.
Environmental limits
The documentation specifies IP67, UV resistance of the enclosure and an operating range of −25 to +45°C; the manufacturer also permits outdoor use. These ratings describe the neon, not automatically every component of a completed installation. The stated warranty is 36 months.
