Choose the bending direction before shaping the line

VERTICAL identifies the bending direction in relation to the light-emitting surface. The manufacturer specifies this version for three-dimensional installations. When planning a curve, consider both the route of the neon and the direction its illuminated face will point. A version that bends in another direction is not an interchangeable choice simply because the voltage and dimensions look similar.

The flexible silicone enclosure allows a shaped light line rather than a sequence of separate rigid fittings. Compare its cross-section with the available mounting space and the chosen fixing components. The documentation gives a cutting interval of 0.71 cm; shorten the neon at its marked cutting points rather than at an arbitrary position on the roll.

Neutral white light on a 24 V DC circuit

The datasheet specifies the finished neon at 4000 K with a tolerance of ±10%. This is a single-colour white version, not RGB, for designs that call for a white outline instead of changing colours. The internal LED source has its own colour-temperature value; that figure should not be confused with the light emerging through the silicone enclosure.

Consumption is 10 W per metre, giving 50 W for the complete 5 m length. The operating supply is 24 V direct current, not a direct connection to 230 V mains. Base the power-supply calculation on the length actually installed.

The manufacturer lists walls, ceilings, advertising, homes, shops, restaurants and cafés as applications. Its plain linear form suits modern and minimalist compositions in which the light path provides the detail. The enclosure is rated IP67 and has documented UV resistance, with outdoor use permitted by the manufacturer. The neon's rating does not establish the protection of connectors or other installation components; check those separately for the intended location.
