Lighting column Norlys Trysil 1095GR graphite LED 12.2 W 4000 K DALI2 400 cm

The Norlys Trysil 1095GR is a complete 4 m lighting column with a single arm reaching out 71 cm and a flat LED head at its end. Column and arm are extruded aluminium profile powder-coated graphite (RAL 7016), and the module sits behind a clear UV-stabilised polycarbonate cover.

How it lights

The luminaire draws 12.2 W and delivers 1667 lm. The Ledil SCL lens gives an IESNA type II/III distribution – a pool of light stretched along a path, avenue or driveway rather than a circle round the column. A ULOR of 0% means no light goes upwards, so it does not shine into windows or brighten the sky. 4000 K is neutral white; CRI 70 is typical of street lighting, with colours less saturated than under a household lamp. The manufacturer states flicker (Pst LM) and stroboscopic effect (SVM) of no more than 0.1.

Control and supply

The Philips driver works in a DALI outdoor system (DALI2 / NightDim) and leaves the factory set to maximum current; other modes, such as reducing output in the middle of the night, are programmed by Norlys to order. The terminals take conductors up to 5 × 4 mm² with loop-through up to 5 × 2.5 mm², and the gland takes cable up to 13.6 mm.

Protection class I requires a protective earth connection. The inrush current is 15 A for 295 µs, so the manufacturer states how many columns one circuit breaker can carry: 18 on B10, 29 on B16, 30 on C10 and 49 on C16 – the figures for planning the circuit along a longer avenue.

Installation and servicing

The foundation parts are bought separately: mounting adapter 1259GA, ground anchor 180GA or concrete-in anchor 3091GA. The column weighs 24 kg. IP65 means dust-tight and protected against water jets, and IK10 is the highest impact rating for the housing.

The LED module and driver are replaced by a professional service (repair kit ZS1095zx0009). The manufacturer rates the module for 100,000 hours at 90% of its flux (L90B10) and the driver for the same. The plain, modern form suits gardens, parks and the grounds of hotels and restaurants.
