The ZAMBELIS 2558 is a linear pendant 202 cm long, 1.6 cm wide and 4.5 cm deep. The body of metal, aluminium and plastic is finished in sandy black with a fine matt texture, and the lit edge runs along the whole underside of the bar. The LED module is built into the profile.
How big the bar is and how it hangs
202 cm is the figure to compare with your own table — over a top shorter than roughly 180 cm the bar clearly overhangs. The suspension measures 200 cm and can be shortened: above a 75 cm dining table the lower edge is usually set 70–80 cm above the top, so the light covers the whole surface without shining into the eyes of people seated at it.
The ceiling canopy measures 22 × 6 × 4 cm and covers the connection point. The fitting is Class I, so it needs a supply with a protective earth conductor — on an installation without earthing, check this before mounting.
How much light it gives and of what kind
The built-in LED module delivers 2080 lm, roughly two and a half times a former 60 W bulb. 3000 K is warm white: distinctly warmer than daylight, without the yellow cast that 2700 K carries.
A colour rendering index of Ra 90 means colours under this fitting look close to how they look in daylight — over a table that decides how food and tableware appear. The manufacturer states a lifetime of L70B50 30,000 h, after which the module runs at 70% of its initial brightness. The light source cannot be replaced, because the LED sits inside the profile.
Dimming and power supply
The fitting draws 42 W and runs straight off 220–240 V mains — the driver is inside the bar and does not have to be bought separately. Dimming works by TRIAC, so a TRIAC phase-cut dimmer fitted in the wall box in place of an ordinary switch is required. It is not included.
What kind of room it suits
The manufacturer intends the 2558 for above a dining table and for hotel and other commercial interiors. The form is minimalist and modern: one plain straight bar with no ornament, with only the thin suspension wires visible. The matt sandy black stands out against a light table top and a light wall.
