It lights both ways — up and down
This is the fitting's most important feature and the reason a 120 cm profile only 1.2 cm thick puts out so much light: the manufacturer classifies it as up-down. Part of the flux goes downward onto the table or worktop, part upward across the ceiling. The ceiling then acts as a second, large luminous surface, so the light in the room is soft and free of hard shadows — an effect a downward-only fitting cannot produce.
Height adjustment without tools
The hanging height is changed by a pull-and-release system — a tug on the cable, with no dismantling of the canopy and no shortening of the cord. The cable is 200 cm long, so the adjustment covers both a low hang over a table and full extension in a room with a high ceiling. The practical consequence: the height can be corrected after the furniture is placed, not only during installation.

TRIAC control
The fitting dims to the TRIAC standard — the same one used for ordinary incandescent lamps. That means it works with a classic wall dimmer and needs no controller or separate protocol such as DALI. When installing, check that the dimmer used is rated for LED loads: dimmers designed for filament lamps can be too "strong" for a 40 W diode and cause flicker at low settings.
