Lucide JOANET 45494/06/65 smoke glass and matt gold pendant light, 6×E27, 132 cm

Lucide JOANET 45494/06/65 is a linear pendant with six glass shades suspended on separate black cables. Smoke-grey glass with a mirrored coating contrasts with elongated sockets in a matt gold, satin-brass finish. There are three shade sizes, with two of each, so the arrangement has a varied outline rather than six identical drops.

Plan for the full 132 cm span

The complete fitting measures 132 cm in length and 41.5 cm in width. Its rectangular metal ceiling plate measures 130 × 30 × 3.5 cm. Compare both the pendant's span and the mounting plate with the available space: the ceiling attachment is almost as long as the overall arrangement. The shade diameters are 16, 21 and 22 cm, giving the glass cluster a different profile when viewed from the side.

Suspension height can be set between 50 and 218 cm before installation. This is an installation adjustment, not a control for raising and lowering the light during everyday use. Above a dining table or kitchen island, compare the chosen drop with the worktop and seated sightlines. In a living room, the same check helps establish the space below the glass. The rectangular layout and contrast between reflective glass and metal suit contemporary and modernist interiors.

Select six separate bulbs

All six E27 bulbs must be purchased separately. Each socket accepts a bulb rated at no more than 40 W, and appropriate LED bulbs can be used. Brightness and colour temperature depend on your choice of light sources; there is no built-in LED module with a fixed light colour. Since the bulbs remain visible through the glass, they also influence the appearance of the fitting.

Dimming and electrical installation

Dimming requires dimmable bulbs and a compatible external dimmer, which is not supplied. JOANET is an indoor fitting for a 220–240 V mains supply. Its class I construction requires an earth connection, and the manual calls for installation by a qualified electrician. Decide on the relative shade heights before fixing the cables rather than assuming the photographed arrangement will fit your table unchanged.
