The 3 m LUMINES DOUBLE protective cover shields an LED profile during plastering and finishing work. Made from PVC, it has edges that overlap the profile rim. It is a temporary working cover removed after finishing, rather than a diffuser intended to distribute light from the completed fitting.
Keep finishing materials out of the profile
The cover protects the open channel against filler, sanding dust and paint entering its interior. The overlapping edges also cover the rim where the adjacent surface is being finished. Its role therefore belongs to the installation and finishing stage, before the profile receives its final lighting cover.
LUMINES specifies this accessory for repeated use. Once removed, it remains a tool for further work with a compatible profile, not a decorative or light-emitting part. Its purpose is to separate the profile interior from the working area. It does not serve to change the light colour or beam pattern. This distinction matters when comparing similar-looking covers and accessories for a lighting installation.
Choose the DOUBLE-compatible version
This version is intended for plaster-in profiles compatible with DOUBLE diffusers, including ZATI, SUBLI, TOPO, PERO, VEDA, PLATO, HIRO, DUO and MOTTA. DOUBLE identifies the compatible range; it does not mean that two covers are supplied. The BASIC version belongs to a different diffuser range and should not be treated as an interchangeable substitute.
Match the 3 m length to your work
Article code 14-2029-13 identifies the three-metre length. Compare it with the profile section you need to protect, and check the profile system name rather than choosing by its photograph alone. This accessory does not replace the profile, LED strip or final diffuser. It is for preparing a built-in lighting installation during finishing, not for adding another optical component to the completed fitting.
