NORDLAND 5046AL LED Outdoor Wall Light 16W 3000K Light Grey RAL 9006 - NORLYS

Nordland 5046AL is a square outdoor light in a flush, plafond style that mounts on a wall or a ceiling. The powder-coated cast aluminium frame is light grey RAL 9006, and the front and sides are closed by an opal, UV-stabilised polycarbonate diffuser that spreads the light across its whole surface.

Dimensions and installation

The light measures 28 × 28 cm, is 9.5 cm deep and weighs 2.25 kg. It fixes with two screws through ø5 mm holes spaced 150 × 170 mm — on the wall beside a door or on the ceiling of a covered terrace or porch.

The terminals take conductors up to 3 × 2.5 mm², and the gland a round-sheathed cable of 7–10.5 mm diameter. Further fittings can be looped through with conductors up to 3 × 2.5 mm², so several lights under one roof run from a single supply line. The fitting is protection class I, so the installation needs a protective earth conductor.

How much light, and what kind

The integrated 16 W LED module produces 1419 lm, and 934 lm leaves the fitting — more than an old 60 W bulb, so it is enough as the main light at an entrance or over a terrace table. 3000 K is warm white. The light is diffuse, with about 9% of it going upwards.

It dims with a phase dimmer: the manufacturer allows both trailing-edge (TE) and leading-edge (LE) dimmers. The LED module is built in but not disposable — a professional service replaces it, and Norlys offers a service kit for this fitting.

Where it fits

IP65 means a dust-tight housing protected against water jets, and IK10 is the highest common impact class, useful where the fitting is easy to knock. Norlys intends it for private grounds and architecture. It suits a terrace or balcony, a gazebo, the garden side of a house, and hotels and restaurants. The plain square form without decoration suits modern architecture.
