Nordlux Vic 35 is a white LED ceiling light with a broad circular illuminated face and a narrow rim. Its plastic body measures 35 cm across and just 4.4 cm in height. It provides an alternative to a hanging shade when you want general lighting without a pendant extending into the room.
A shallow fitting rather than a suspended shade
The low profile leaves more space beneath the light than a cable-suspended fitting. In a hallway, corridor or walk-in wardrobe, compare its diameter with the available ceiling area and the position of tall cabinetry. It can also provide general lighting in a living room, bedroom, kitchen or dining room. The size of the fitting alone does not establish the room area it will adequately illuminate.
The smooth disc, without decorative arms or hanging ornaments, suits minimalist, modern and Scandinavian interiors. In a classic scheme it offers a restrained alternative to an elaborate ceiling light. A white body does not mean cool-white illumination: this particular version produces warm-white light.
Warm-white output without dimming
Article 2310146001 includes an integrated 32 W LED module rated at 3200 lm and 3000 K. Nordlux confirms that the illuminated surface lights evenly. When deciding how many fittings to use, consider ceiling height, room layout and wall colours rather than assuming one light will cover any room.
Vic is not dimmable. If you need lower evening light in a bedroom, plan a separate lamp. There is no bulb to buy, but the LED source is non-replaceable. The mounting instructions specify that the whole luminaire must be replaced when its light source reaches the end of its life.
Installation requirements
This fitting is for indoor use and permanent connection to a 220–240 V supply, not hook suspension. Mounting screws are not included, according to the instructions. Choose fixings suitable for the mounting surface, isolate the supply before electrical work and follow local installation requirements.
