NORLYS Asker Big 5106AL LED outdoor wall light, aluminium finish RAL 9006, 7.1 W 4000 K

NORLYS Asker Big 5106AL is an outdoor LED wall light with a broad rectangular body in an aluminium-colour RAL 9006 finish. The cast-aluminium housing is powder-coated, and light passes through a clear, textured diffuser made from UV-stabilised polycarbonate. An uninterrupted metal face without decorative arms gives the fitting a modern, minimalist appearance.

Light directed below the fitting

This variant produces diffuse light directed downwards. NORLYS specifies it for lighting walls, façades and other architectural features. It can form part of a scheme for an exterior wall beside a terrace or balcony, or for hotel and restaurant façades. Consider the direction of emission when choosing its position: it is not a wall light with symmetrical upward and downward output.

The 4000 K colour temperature provides neutral white light. The complete luminaire delivers 638 lm, while the LED module itself produces 997 lm. Use the 638 lm figure when comparing finished wall lights. The higher source value does not describe the amount of light leaving the housing.

Dimming and source replacement

The complete fitting draws 7.1 W; the LED source power is 5.3 W. Its integrated module removes the need to select a separate screw-in bulb. Brightness is adjustable using Trailing Edge phase dimming, so the proposed control equipment must support that method. Both the LED source and the control gear can be replaced by professional service. This is not the same operation as changing a conventional household bulb.

Allowing space for wall mounting

The body is 30.2 cm wide, 12.5 cm high and projects 12.1 cm from the wall. Before installation, compare this outline with the available façade space and any neighbouring opening elements. NORLYS specifies IP65 and IK08. The light operates on 220–240 V and belongs to electrical protection class I. Installation and servicing require a suitably qualified person. The manufacturer specifies fixing via an intermediate plate with 45 mm spacing, or directly through two holes spaced 68 mm apart. Fixing and wiring must follow the NORLYS installation instructions.
