NORLYS Lysfjord 6421BL is a black outdoor wall light with a cylindrical body and upward and downward light emission. The BL finish is RAL 9005, applied to a powder-coated cast aluminium housing. Its plain tube-shaped form, without decorative arms, suits modern and minimalist facade designs.
A narrow upper beam and a wider lower beam
This version does not distribute light equally in both directions. The upward beam angle is 4°, while the downward angle is 60°. It pairs a narrow accent above the fitting with a broader spread below. When choosing a position, compare these directions with windows, wall divisions and facade edges rather than expecting the fitting to light the whole outdoor area evenly.
Two LED modules produce neutral white light at 4000 K. The complete luminaire delivers 946 lm. The separate figure of 4144 lm refers to the light sources, not the light leaving the assembled wall fitting. Total luminaire consumption is 26.5 W; the source power is 22.5 W. These distinctions matter when comparing this model with other facade lights.
Check the space and prepare the connection
The overall dimensions are 43 × 15 × 20 cm. Compare this envelope with the available space on a facade, terrace wall or balcony wall and with the planned cable outlet. The documented construction includes optical safety glass, a silicone seal and an EPDM cable gland. This exact fitting carries IP65 protection and an IK08 mechanical resistance rating.
Its mounting uses two 5 mm holes with spacing of 73 × 154 mm. As a class I luminaire it requires a proper protective-earth connection. A qualified electrician should install it in accordance with the manufacturer's instructions.
Controls and future servicing
The driver supports DALI2 / NightDim. This is not the optional phase-dimmable version. Both the LED modules and control gear can be replaced by a professional service; they are not ordinary screw-in bulbs for user replacement. Plan the required control arrangement before preparing the electrical installation.
