Mora 6466AL is a post-top luminaire with two cylindrical bodies set on an 85 cm crossbar. It is built from extruded, powder-coated aluminium profile in an aluminium finish, and the covers are clear safety glass. The luminaire measures 85 × 15 × 27 cm and weighs 8.23 kg.
What pole it goes on and how it is wired
The fitting is made for a pole with a 60 mm mounting spigot. The pole itself is not supplied — nor is the 3070XX0009 reducer or the rest of the accessories, which the manufacturer sells separately. The side area of the luminaire is 0.12 m², the figure used when a pole is sized for wind load.
Connection is made through a 6.5 m H05VV-F 5G1 lead run inside the pole to a junction box. The luminaire is protection class I, so it needs an earth conductor and connection by a qualified electrician.
How much light it gives and where it goes
The LED modules produce 5002 lm and 3229 lm leaves the luminaire at 33.9 W — that is 95.3 lm/W. 3000 K is warm white, warmer than the light of a typical street lantern. The manufacturer calculates the photometry for a 6 m mounting height.
The distribution is symmetric at 30D and the upward light output ratio is 0%: nothing is emitted above the plane of the luminaire, so the light reaches neither upstairs windows nor the sky. The BUG rating is B2-U2-G0 and colour rendering is Ra 80.
Control and service life
The luminaire runs on DALI2 with NightDim (4DIM). Dimming needs a DALI controller — it will not work with an ordinary phase dimmer on the supply circuit. The driver is built in.
The LED module and the driver can both be replaced, but only by a professional service; they are not user-changeable the way a bulb is. The manufacturer rates the module at L90B10 over 60,000 h and the driver at 100,000 h.
Standing up to the weather
IP65 means protection against dust and water jets, so the luminaire can work in the open with no cover over it. IK08 impact resistance corresponds to 5 J of impact energy — the level specified for luminaires in public places.
The operating temperature range runs from -20 to +45 °C. A silicone gasket and an EPDM gland keep the joints sealed.
