Nora 2486WH is a flat, square outdoor wall light measuring 13 × 13 cm and 5 cm deep, made of cast aluminium powder-coated white (RAL 9003). Light leaves through satin safety glass at the top and bottom of the body, while the front stays plain.

How it lights

The fitting gives two-way diffused light — a ULOR of 50% means half the flux goes up and half down. It draws a bright band on the wall above and below itself, which makes it a light for picking out a facade, entrance or wall rather than for spotlighting a path. Two LED modules shine at 2700 K, a warm, slightly yellow light close to a traditional bulb; CRI 80 and SDCM3 keep the tint consistent between several lights on one wall.

Adjustable power and dimming

The driver carries a power switch from 10.9 to 15 W, and the fitting leaves the factory set to 10.9 W. The quoted 610 lm applies to the 15 W setting, so at the factory setting it is dimmer — the wattage is a decision for installation time, before the light goes on the wall. It dims on a phase dimmer, both trailing-edge (TE) and leading-edge (LE).

The LED modules and driver are built in and replaceable by a professional service only. The manufacturer rates the driver at 50,000 h.

Installation

The light fixes through two ø5 mm holes on a 63 × 112 mm pattern and weighs 0.85 kg. The terminals take 3 × 2.5 mm² conductors and allow the supply to loop through to the next fitting (up to 3 × 1.5 mm²), so a row along a facade runs off one cable. The manufacturer states how many fit on one breaker: B10 — 37, B16 — 60, C10 — 62, C16 — 102.

IP65 means dust-tight and protected against water jets, and IK09 an impact-resistant housing. Protection class I requires an earth connection, and installation is for a qualified electrician.
