The Stockholm 1420BL is an 85 cm bollard light whose shaft of painted Scandinavian pine is combined with black (RAL 9005) parts in hot-dip galvanised, powder-coated steel. On top sits a round opal PMMA diffuser framed by steel ribs; the light is diffuse and spreads evenly all around the bollard.
Where it goes and how it is fixed
Norlys designs the Stockholm for private grounds and public areas, and our catalogue lists it for gardens, terraces, driveways, streets, hotels and restaurants. The bollard takes up 17 × 17 cm, and because it lights in every direction it does not need to face any particular way.
The base is fixed with three bolts through ø9 mm holes spaced at 120° on a ø65 mm circle. No fixing parts come in the box: Norlys sells a concrete-in anchor (205), a ground anchor (206), a concrete foundation adapter (206S) and the mounting adapters 3080GA and 3086GA separately. The luminaire weighs 6.75 kg.
Light source and wiring
The fitting has an E27 socket and takes an A55–A60 shaped LED bulb of up to 9 W; the bulb is not included and the user replaces it. Colour and brightness are therefore chosen with the bulb — a standard LED bulb of about 800 lm gives as much light as an old 60 W one.
The terminals take conductors up to 3 × 2.5 mm² and allow the next fitting to be fed through (up to 3 × 1.5 mm²), so several bollards in a row can run from one supply line; the round cable can be up to 12.5 mm in diameter. It is a protection class II luminaire and needs no earth conductor.
Build and spare parts
An IP65 rating lets the bollard stay outdoors without any cover, and its IK10 impact resistance is the top grade of that scale. The diffuser and the gasket are available as spare parts. Within the Stockholm range the same bollard also comes galvanised (1420GA), with impregnated wood (1423) and at 49 cm (1430, 1433).
