Hellvik 2416GR LED Bollard Light 85 cm, 11.9 W, 3000K, DALI-2, Graphite, NORLYS

Hellvik 2416GR is a NORLYS bollard shaped as an open, rectangular frame 85 cm tall. The body is cast aluminium, powder-coated in graphite RAL 7016. The LED module is built into the top bar of the frame and shines downwards, with the light shielded from above.

Dimensions and installation

The frame is 85 cm tall, 42 cm wide and 11 cm deep, and weighs 9.27 kg. A concrete-in anchor is included, so nothing extra is needed to set the bollard in concrete. A ground anchor (209GA0009) and an adapter for a concrete foundation (209GA0S09) are sold separately.

IP65 and IK08 let it stand beside a path without extra cover. It is a protection class I luminaire, so it must be connected to a protective earth conductor.

Light and DALI-2 control

The 9.9 W Philips Fortimo module produces 1691 lm, and the luminaire delivers 1537 lm at 11.9 W – 129.2 lm/W. At 3000 K the light is warm white. A sealed clear PMMA lens closes the module from below, and a ULOR of 3% (BUG B1-U2-G1) means almost all the light goes down.

The luminaire has a DALI-2 driver, so it is switched and dimmed over a DALI bus – a DALI controller or gateway is needed, and an ordinary phase dimmer will not work with it. The manufacturer also approves it for emergency installations supplied with 176–276 V DC.

Wiring several bollards

The terminals take conductors up to 5 × 2.5 mm² and allow a loop to the next luminaire with the same cross-section and a cable diameter up to 12.5 mm. Five cores carry the supply, the protective earth and the two DALI bus wires, so one cable serves a whole row of bollards.

With an inrush current of 20 A for 200 µs, one circuit breaker takes at most: 10 on B10A, 30 on B16A, 31 on C10A and 51 on C16A.

Service and lifetime

The LED module and driver can be replaced by a professional service – the manufacturer offers LED module 4699100402, driver 4699210400 and service kit ZS2416zx0009 as spare parts. The module keeps 90% of its flux for over 100,000 h (L90B10), and the driver is rated for 50,000 h.

The bollard is intended for gardens and private grounds: beside a terrace, along a driveway or by a road. The plain frame without ornament is a modern form with Scandinavian restraint.
