Trysil 1058AL is a garden pole light built as a complete column 263 cm tall, topped by a single arm bent at an angle with a flat rectangular LED head at its end — seen from above, the luminaire is 71 cm long. The column is an extruded aluminium profile, powder-coated light grey (RAL 9006), and the LED module sits behind a clear, UV-stabilised polycarbonate lens.
How much light it gives
The LED module produces 1158.5 lm and 1111 lm leaves the luminaire at 8.6 W — roughly what an old 75 W bulb gave, but aimed at the path below. The colour temperature of 3000 K is a warm white. CRI 70 is enough to see the surface, kerbs and obstacles clearly, though colours look less faithful than under Ra 80 or higher.
The Ledil SCL lens gives an IESNA type II/III distribution: light stretches along the path or driveway instead of forming a round pool under the pole. Nothing is emitted upwards (ULOR 0%).
Control and servicing
The driver runs on DALI2 with NightDim and is factory-set to maximum current; other settings are programmed after contacting the Norlys sales department. The LED module and the driver are replaced by a professional service, using the manufacturer's service set ZS1054. The module keeps 90% of its output for 100,000 h, and the driver is rated for 100,000 h.
Installation and what to buy separately
The pole weighs 17.2 kg and arrives in a 44 × 38 × 232 cm box. No foundation is included: the manufacturer lists the B-50 concrete foundation (3091GA0009), a ground anchor (180GA0009) or a mounting adapter (1259GA0009), and the manual adds a hermetic junction box with a 6 A fuse (7666ZX0009) — all ordered separately. Installation and connection are done by a licensed electrician.
The terminals take conductors up to 5 × 4 mm², or up to 5 × 2.5 mm² when poles are looped; the supply cable may be up to 13.6 mm in diameter. Protection class I means the circuit needs a protective earth. It is rated IP65 against water jets and IK10, the top impact rating.
Where to place it
The light is assigned to gardens, terraces and driveways — places where a head at 2.63 m has to light a footpath or an entrance from one side. The form is modern and spare: a straight rectangular profile, one arm and a head with no decoration.
