NORLYS Mora 6461BL post-top luminaire LED 4000 K, black, for Ø60 pole

Mora 6461BL is a post-top luminaire: a black cylinder 15 cm in diameter, held out on a straight arm of extruded aluminium profile, powder-coated in RAL 9005. It lights downwards through a safety-glass diffuser. The LED module and DALI driver are included; the pole is bought separately.

Mounting and dimensions

The luminaire slides onto a pole spigot 60 mm in diameter. From the spigot to the outer edge of the cylinder it measures 46.5 cm, and it is 27 cm tall – figures worth comparing with the distance between the pole and a wall, trees or the edge of a driveway. Net weight is 4.93 kg and the lateral surface area is 0.07 m²; the latter is the figure used when choosing a pole, because it sets the wind load at the top.

Power comes through a 6.5 m H05VV-F 5G1 cable that runs inside the pole to a junction box. The luminaire is protection class I, so it must be connected to protective earth. Other accessories, including the 3070XX0009 reducer, are sold separately.

Light and control

4000 K is neutral white, under which paving and plants keep their natural colours. The luminaire delivers 1735 lm from 17.6 W, which is 98.6 lm/W. The beam is symmetrical at 30°, and ULOR 0% with a BUG rating of B2-U2-G0 means no light goes above the horizontal or scatters into the night sky.

The driver supports DALI2 and NightDim (4DIM). It leaves the factory programmed to maximum current, and Norlys sets the other operating parameters by arrangement with its sales department. Dimming over DALI requires a DALI controller in the installation.

Build and service

IP65 means the luminaire can stay outdoors without shelter, and IK08 means resistance to impacts of 5 J. A silicone gasket and an EPDM cable gland keep it sealed. The Philips Fortimo LED module and the driver are replaced by a professional service – the maker lists both as spare parts, as it does a diffuser service kit. The module is rated for more than 60,000 h (L90B10) and the driver for 100,000 h.

It is intended for lighting driveways, terraces, parks and streets. The Mora family also includes a 3000 K version (6460) and the twin-arm luminaires 6466 and 6467.
