Norlys Trysil 1107BL black LED bollard light 8 W 4000 K DALI2 85 cm

Trysil 1107BL is a black LED bollard shaped like an inverted L: an 85 cm vertical profile turns at the top into a horizontal arm that throws its light downwards. The body is an extruded aluminium profile, powder-coated black (RAL 9005), and the light source sits behind a sealed clear PMMA lens.

Size and installation

The bollard stands 85 cm tall and its arm reaches 34 cm from the base — the clearance to allow over the path or driveway edge it will stand beside. The profile is 11 cm wide, so it takes up little room in a border. It is fixed through four ø8 mm holes spaced 18 × 50 mm. The concrete anchor (index 1907) and other mounting accessories are sold separately.

The terminals take conductors up to 3 × 2.5 mm² and allow the supply to loop on to the next fitting at up to 3 × 1.5 mm²; the entry accepts a round cable up to 12.5 mm in diameter. Several bollards in one run can therefore share a single supply line. The maker also states how many of these fittings one circuit breaker carries: 82 on a B 10 A and 130 on a B 16 A. The fitting is protection class I, so it must be connected to earth.

What light it gives

The integrated LED module with built-in driver draws 8 W and delivers 693 lm from the fitting at 4000 K — neutral white, under which the surface and its edges are easy to see. The Ledil SCL lens spreads the light to IESNA type II/III, an elongated pool along the path rather than a circle around the bollard. ULOR is 0% and the BUG rating B1-U1-G1, so no light escapes above the fitting into the sky.

The fitting connects straight to the 230 V mains. Control and dimming run over DALI2, so adjusting brightness needs an installation that uses that protocol. The maker rates the LED module at L90 109,000 h and the driver at 100,000 h.

Where it fits

IP65 and an IK08 impact rating let the bollard stand outdoors with no shelter at all. Norlys intends it for gardens, private grounds and the surroundings of buildings; in our catalogue it is listed for garden, terrace, driveway and street. The plain, angular form without ornament is modern in style.
