ISLA LED is an outdoor wall light one metre tall and 8.5 cm wide, in black, standing just 5.4 cm off the wall. It delivers 1200 lumens at 22 W, at a warm 3000 K.
A metre of vertical light
This is not a wall light in the usual sense. 100 cm tall by 8.5 cm wide gives a narrow vertical bar – a fitting that reads on a façade as a line, not a point.
The vertical format has a concrete justification at a doorway or a gate: the light spreads from head height down to the ground, lighting door, handle, steps and path at once. A conventional round fitting in the same position puts one patch at mounting height and leaves darkness below it.
5.4 cm from the wall
Projection from the wall is 5.4 cm. On a metre-long fitting that matters: the bar sits against the façade rather than standing out from it. In a narrow passage, on a balcony or beside a gate, that is the difference between a fitting you walk past and one you catch with your shoulder.
1200 lumens and CRI above 90
1200 lm at a wide 120° is enough to light an entrance without additional fittings.
One figure deserves attention because it is easy to miss: CRI above 90. In exterior lighting that is rare – most façade fittings stop at CRI 70–80. The practical difference: render, timber, stone and planting are rendered faithfully rather than flattened towards grey. On a façade with warm timber or brick it shows immediately.
3000 K is warm – what one expects at a house, not in a car park.
Durability
IP54 – protection against dust and splashing water from any direction, appropriate for a façade. Stated LED life is 30,000 hours; the source is integrated, with no lamp to change.
The body is painted aluminium, the diffuser PMMA. That is the standard pairing in façade fittings: aluminium carries the LED heat away, PMMA resists impact and does not yellow the way plain polycarbonate does.
Installation
A mounting kit is included – nothing extra to buy. Direct wall mounting. Class I: earth conductor required. Supply 220–230 V, 50/60 Hz.
On a metre-long fitting it pays to plan the outlet at the top or bottom of the bar per the instructions – moving the connection point after the holes are drilled is awkward.
