The MONO 7768 is a ceiling spot bar: a black steel bar 118 cm long carrying four cylindrical spotlights, two at each end. The spot bodies are black, and inside each one sits a gold ring that stands out against the matt black.
How much room it takes and how it mounts
Only the bar is screwed to the ceiling: 118 cm long, 4 cm wide and 2 cm high, a narrow strip to compare with the width of a worktop or the stretch of ceiling above the zone you want lit. The spots rotate and tilt, which is why the overall dimensions are given as ranges: 118-130 cm long, 5.5-20 cm wide and 8-13 cm high, the upper figures being the heads swung out to the sides.
The mounting method is a bracket bar, and the set of brackets and an Allen key are in the box. One head measures 5.5 cm across and 10.5 cm tall, so the fitting comes a good ten centimetres below the ceiling.
Which lamps it takes and how it aims the light
The bar accepts four lamps with a GU10 cap in the R50 reflector format. Lamps are not included, so colour and brightness are your choice. The manufacturer caps the power at 10 W per point and expressly requires LED lamps only β a halogen GU10 must not be fitted here.
Each spot throws its narrow cone wherever it is turned, so the four points can be spread across four different places: pictures, a worktop, a reading chair. The two-plus-two split at the ends of the bar means the light falls on two zones a bar's length apart rather than on one point in the middle.
Build and what is in the box
The structure is lacquered steel with ABS plastic parts and the fitting weighs 1.76 kg net. The manufacturer states protection class I, so the connection needs an earth conductor. IP20 and the declared indoor use rule out the shower area and outdoor positions.
The carton holds the luminaire, the user manual, the mounting instructions, an Allen key and the set of brackets. The lamp is made in Poland.
