Nowodvorski NOME A 12248 beige and terracotta pendant light, GX53, 49 cm Promo Code 🚀- NOVO15 until the end of Oct 25

Nowodvorski NOME A 12248 is a pendant light with an open shade made from painted steel. Three vertically stacked sections create its distinctive geometric outline: a wide terracotta centre sits between smaller beige sections above and below. Gaps between the metal rods keep the construction open rather than enclosing it in a solid, opaque shade.

Allow for the shade's height as well as its width

The shade measures 49 cm across and 58 cm high. Its footprint above a table is only part of the placement decision: the substantial vertical shape also needs room. Compare both measurements with nearby furniture and the clear space beneath the fitting. The manufacturer lists the overall height as a maximum of 170–223 cm. Use that information together with the instructions for this fitting when planning its suspension.

NOME A can be used above a dining table, in a living room or over a kitchen island where its three-part silhouette remains visible. In a bedroom, position it away from walking routes. Beige and terracotta can pick up similar colours elsewhere in the interior, while the repeated steel rods and stacked rounded forms suit modern and modernist schemes.

One GX53 light source, chosen separately

The fitting has one socket for a replaceable GX53 light source and accepts LED lamps only, up to 15 W. Three shade sections do not mean three bulbs. No light source is included, so you choose the light colour and brightness through a compatible lamp. They are not fixed by an integrated LED module. A permanent colour temperature or lumen output should therefore not be attributed to the empty fitting.

Installation and care of the painted finish

The package contains the fitting and instructions. It is intended for indoor use, attaches with a mounting bracket and operates on 220–230 V. Electrical connection must be carried out by an appropriately qualified installer. Switch it off and let it cool before cleaning. Use a slightly damp cloth, avoid solvents that could damage the painted steel, and allow the fitting to dry completely before switching it on again.
