SATELLITE M ceiling light 8018
Nowodvorski SATELLITE M 8018 is a round fitting designed for direct ceiling mounting. Its painted-steel body has the silk-grey finish identified by the manufacturer as P026 RAL 7044, while a white plastic diffuser closes the underside. The fitting is 58 cm wide and 16 cm high. Its enclosed dome shape hides the light sources and presents a continuous white surface when viewed from below.
Seven replaceable E27 light sources
Seven E27 lampholders sit inside the fitting. The manufacturer permits replaceable LED sources only, with a maximum rating of 25 W for each source; bulbs are not included. Their colour temperature and luminous flux can therefore be selected for the intended installation, provided the E27 cap, wattage limit and physical clearance behind the diffuser are observed. Using seven sources with matching specifications helps maintain an even result. The ceiling light does not contain an integrated LED module.
Two light sections arranged 2/5
The technical data lists two lighting sections, divided into groups of two and five sources. Wiring should follow the installation instructions and the circuit prepared for the fitting; the 2/5 entry does not itself indicate a built-in dimmer or wireless control. The electrical supply is 220–230 V at 50/60 Hz. A mounting kit is not included, so appropriate fixings need to be selected for the ceiling construction and the load of the fitting.
IP20 and electrical class I
SATELLITE M carries an IP20 rating and is intended for dry indoor areas without direct exposure to water. Electrical protection class I requires a correctly connected protective earth conductor. Before mounting, isolate the supply, prepare suitable anchors and check the conductor arrangement for the 2/5 sections. The replaceable bulbs are reached by removing the lower diffuser after installation. The exact reference for this silk-grey version is 8018.
