Outdoor wall light NORLYS Nora 2465GR LED 10.3W 2700K graphite IP65

Nora 2465GR is a Norlys outdoor wall light shaped as a flat, square box of cast aluminium, powder-coated in graphite RAL 7016. The front measures 13 × 13 cm and the fitting projects 5 cm from the wall. Light leaves through the top and bottom edges via clear safety glass sealed with a silicone gasket.

How much light it gives and where it goes

Two LED modules sit inside, one for each direction. The luminaire draws 10.3 W and delivers 745 lm, which is 72.3 lm per watt. The maker states an upward light ratio (ULOR) of 50% – half the output goes up and half down, so the façade gets two washes of light, above and below the fitting. That matters if a window sits just above. 2700 K is warm, slightly yellowish light, and Ra 80 is the usual colour rendering for outdoor lighting.

Light source and DALI-2 control

The LED modules and driver are built in, so there are no bulbs to buy. The driver works on DALI-2, a digital control bus – dimming and lighting scenes require a DALI controller in the installation. The modules and driver are replaced by a professional service, and the maker offers a dedicated service kit for this fitting. The driver is rated for 100,000 h.

Mounting and wiring

The wall light fixes through two ø5 mm holes spaced 63 × 112 mm and weighs 0.85 kg. The terminals take conductors up to 5 × 2.5 mm² and allow the supply to loop through to the next fitting with up to 5 × 1.5 mm², so a row of lights along a façade can run from a single supply line. The supply cable should have a round sheath 7–10.5 mm in diameter.

On longer runs the drivers' inrush current matters: the maker allows up to 46 fittings on a B 10 A breaker, 74 on B 16 A or C 10 A, and 119 on C 16 A. The luminaire is protection class I, so it must be connected to a protective earth. IP65 means it is sealed against dust and water jets, and IK09 means the housing resists impacts, which counts next to paths and driveways.

Where it fits

Norlys designed Nora for lighting walls and building façades. The plain square body without ornament and the uniform graphite finish suit Scandinavian and minimalist architecture.
