The SILICONE 6404 is a cord suspension with an E27 lampholder — a black cable, a black ceiling cup and a silicone holder at the end of it. There is no shade: the bulb stays fully visible, so it is the bulb that decides how the lit fitting looks.

What height it hangs at

The maximum drop is 90 cm from the ceiling, and the cable can be shortened during installation. Above a dining table with a 75 cm top, those 90 cm come off the room height — in a standard 2.6 m room the bottom of the holder ends up roughly 80 cm above the table, which is the usual range for a light over a table.

The holder and the ceiling cup are 6 cm wide and the whole assembly weighs 0.16 kg. It mounts on a hanger, with no drilling into structural elements. Protection class II means the circuit does not need an earth conductor.

Which bulb you have to buy

No light source is supplied — the box holds only the fitting and the instructions. The cap is E27, and the manufacturer permits one source of up to 25 W and in LED technology only, so incandescent and halogen bulbs are ruled out.

Because the holder conceals nothing, the bulb you pick is part of the fitting rather than a hidden component. Colour and brightness are yours to choose: around 800 lm matches an old 60 W bulb, and 2700–3000 K gives the warm, slightly yellow light usually wanted over a table or beside a bed.

Build and where it may hang

The holder is silicone; the remaining parts are steel finished in black. Silicone is soft and flexible, so the holder does not crack when a bulb is tightened into it the way rigid plastic can.

IP20 protection means dry interiors only — this fitting is not intended for a terrace, a shower area or an outdoor canopy. Supply is 220–230 V, 50/60 Hz.
