Pieve PND-95221-1S-PRP is a small pendant light made of two spheres: an upper one of burgundy ceramic with a glossy glaze, and a lower one of matt white opal glass that glows. It hangs on a black cable below a round black ceiling canopy.
Size and where to hang it
The body is 15 cm in diameter and 28.5 cm tall, and 153 cm overall with the cable. This is the S size of the Pieve family — a single lamp is an accent rather than room lighting, so it works well in a pair or a row over a dining table or kitchen worktop. The same series also comes in larger M and L versions and other ceramic colours.
What light it gives
The light source is an integrated 5 W LED module, so there is no bulb to buy. It gives 468 lm, a little less than an old 40–60 W bulb, at 3000 K — warm white light, pleasant in the evening in a living room or bedroom. The light passes through the matt opal globe, so it is soft and diffused with no visible bright point. The lamp is not dimmable and runs from an ordinary switch.
It connects directly to 220–240 V mains, and its IP20 rating makes it suitable for dry indoor rooms.
Where it fits
The manufacturer intends Pieve for living rooms, bedrooms, studies, dining rooms, kitchens, hallways and children's rooms. The modern two-sphere form and the pairing of deep burgundy with white and black make it a clear colour accent — it sits well with warm wood, earth-toned fabrics and light walls.
