Sol 1 in black – exact code 32038
Every metal element in this version forms one continuous black composition: the round ceiling canopy, straight vertical cable and expansive wire frame all share the same finish. A softly rounded white glass shade sits at the centre. Slender steel rods sweep around it as an irregular, slightly tilted oval. Compared with the gold-framed Sol 1, variant 32038 has a quieter palette while retaining the family’s unmistakable three-dimensional line drawing.
The frame sets the true scale
The white shade measures 13 cm in diameter and 13 cm high, but the complete fitting extends 50 cm in depth and up to 51 cm in width. Overall height is adjustable to a maximum of 70 cm. Placement should therefore be judged using the complete spatial outline: the rods project well beyond the glass and need clear surrounding space for the asymmetry to remain legible. Exact product weight is 1.8 kg.
Practical specification
Inside the glass is one E27 lampholder for a replaceable LED bulb up to 15 W. The bulb must be purchased separately. Adjustable suspension allows the position to be set above a dining table, island or occasional table. IP20 is retained as a technical rating rather than presented as a decorative benefit.
