GALAXY 1 is a long-lined ceiling fitting with one large black truncated-cone shade. A slim arm runs from the round ceiling rose to the lamp holder, making the silhouette a deliberate part of the ceiling composition. The lacquered-steel construction and uniform black finish give the model a restrained, graphic appearance.

The fitting uses one replaceable E27 bulb, not included with the product. Sigma specifies a maximum of 15 W LED, allowing the buyer to choose the light colour and output of a suitable LED bulb. The shade directs the light downward, a useful consideration when planning its position above a table, work surface or circulation area.
