Sigma GALAXY 1 40940 – directional light from the ceiling

GALAXY 1 40940 is a single-light ceiling fitting with a distinctive linear structure. A long arm runs from the circular ceiling plate and places the conical shade away from the axis of the electrical point. This gives the design a light appearance while drawing a graphic line across the ceiling. Painted steel in grey beige RAL 7044 coordinates with pale interiors, timber and a natural material palette.

Illuminate a chosen zone

The fitting measures 54 cm wide, 47 cm long and 37 cm high. Its 19 × 17.5 cm shade is offset from the ceiling plate and can be repositioned. Light therefore does not have to fall vertically beneath the supply point: it can be aimed towards a table, part of a worktop, an armchair or a display feature. The open lower face of the metal shade concentrates the output and screens the bulb from a direct side view.

A replaceable E27 lamp

GALAXY 1 accepts one E27 LED lamp with a maximum rating of 15 W. No bulb is supplied, allowing brightness, colour temperature and lamp shape to be selected for the intended result. Warm white can bring out the gentle grey-beige finish and create a relaxed atmosphere, while a neutral tone may be more practical above a table or working surface. The standard E27 holder makes later replacement straightforward.
