Pole-Top Luminaire Norlys Trelleborg 2606GR LED 40.4W 2700K Graphite

The Trelleborg 2606GR is a pole-top luminaire built from a painted aluminium profile in graphite, 60.5 cm long, 11 cm wide and 49 cm high. This is the luminaire body with its built-in LED module on its own — not a complete lantern.

What the installation needs

The luminaire seats on a pole with a 100 × 110 mm profile; neither the pole nor the remaining mounting accessories are included, and they are ordered separately. That is the first thing to check if the pole is already standing — the profile has to match.

The terminal block takes conductors up to 5 × 4 mm², and looping further luminaires through in a chain up to 5 × 2.5 mm². The gland handles round cable of 4–8, 8–12 or 10–13.6 mm diameter. The luminaire is protection class I, so it needs a supply with an earth conductor. It weighs 7.5 kg on its own and 8.6 kg packed.

How much light it gives and of what kind

The module draws 40.4 W and 5590 lm leave the luminaire, which is 138.4 lm/W. The 2700 K colour is warm and clearly yellowish — closer to the light of the old incandescent bulb than to ordinary road lighting. The Ledil VSM lens gives a symmetric distribution (IESNA Type V), so a circle of light around the pole rather than a beam aimed one way.

0.5% of the flux escapes upwards, so the luminaire throws light almost entirely downwards. Colour rendering is Ra 70: colours stay recognisable but look noticeably less saturated than by day — a normal figure for area lighting, not for places where the colour has to be right. The light source is built in permanently and cannot be replaced.

Control and resistance

The luminaire supports DALI2 control and a NightDim mode. Dimming therefore needs a DALI controller — on an ordinary phase dimmer the luminaire will not work.

IP65 means it is sealed against dust and water jets, IK10 against high-energy impact. The manufacturer states operation up to +45 °C ambient. Colour consistency of SDCM5 is worth weighing when ordering several for one run: at that value differences in tint between individual units can be visible when the luminaires burn side by side.
