The gold s.luce Ring is a large LED pendant with a single ring measuring 230 cm in diameter. Its open centre and narrow profile distinguish it from fittings with a solid shade. This particular version has a fixed warm-white light colour of 3000 K.
Allowing room for a 2.3-metre ring
The ring itself is 8 cm high and 1 cm thick. These dimensions do not describe the total height of the installed pendant. Compare its diameter with the available room width, table footprint or void above a staircase; ceiling height alone will not tell you whether the fitting fits the space.
The manufacturer specifies a maximum drop of 5 m that can be shortened. A ceiling canopy and steel cable supports for an eccentric suspension are included. Plan the ceiling connection position together with the final ring height, particularly where people need to pass underneath the installation.
Warm-white output and compatible dimming
The LED light source is included, rather than being a set of separately chosen E27 bulbs. For variant 185569, the manufacturer lists 101 W, 10108 lm and CRI > 90. Account for this light output in the lighting plan for the whole large interior instead of treating the ring solely as a decorative object.
The fitting supports leading-edge and trailing-edge phase dimming. The selected control must suit that dimming method and the LED load. DALI, smart-home control and variable light colour appear on the family page as additional configurations, not standard features of this 3000 K version.
Simple geometry on a large scale
The manufacturer identifies galleries and foyers as intended settings. The diameter and adjustable suspension also make a spacious living room, dining room or tall stairwell worth considering, provided there is room for the ring and clear circulation beneath it. Metal, plastic and restrained geometry suit modern and minimalist interiors. Family photographs include installations with several rings; this offer is for one gold ring, not the entire arrangement shown in those photographs.
