s.luce Velo 194437 is a five-light chandelier of mouth-blown, vertically cut clear glass. The shades hang on a white textile cable from a metal canopy 60 cm across and 4 cm high, with five fixed outlets. Each shade is open at the bottom, so part of the light leaves downwards rather than only through the side flutes. This article is the clear glass with white suspension, not the black cable and not the smoke, amber or multicolour glass sold as other Velo variants.

Canopy span and drop

One shade measures 25 cm in diameter, 27 cm high, and 25 cm in length and width. The fixture's footprint is the canopy: 60 cm long and 60 cm wide. Suspension travel and stated overall height are both 500 cm. That figure is the cord, not the glass, and the cord can be shortened to the ceiling. The heads do not swivel.

A gallery drawing of the canopy marks 60 cm and recommends three fixing points. It does not show that screws are included.

Five E27 sockets and a 40 W maximum

No bulbs are included. The five E27 sockets are replaceable. The sheet states a maximum of 40 W, 230 V and protection class I, so the connection needs an earth conductor. It does not say whether 40 W limits the whole fitting or one lamp, so do not read it as 5 × 40 W. Dimming works only with suitable lamps. There is no built-in dimmer. Luminous flux and colour temperature are not stated and depend on the bulbs. The open bottom sends part of the light onto a table or a landing below.

Stairs, a table, and 19 kg

The maker points to stairwells of medium height, galleries and smaller voids, dining areas with a central table, and smaller reception or consultation rooms. Five 25 cm shades on a 60 cm canopy need a measured table and a clear stair line. Net weight is 19 kg and packed weight is 25.505 kg. IP20 marks an indoor fitting. It is not a bathroom, terrace or outdoor light.

White cable and glass care

The metal canopy and vertical flutes read as a modern, spare form, without arms or candle cups. Open glass collects dust inside. Isolate the supply and remove the lamps before cleaning. No washability or abrasive-resistance claim is given.
