The s.luce Velo 194420 is a three-drop gallery pendant: three separate glass shades on one white canopy, not a chandelier with arms. On this article the glass is mixed, one brown, one clear and one smoke. The suspension and the textile cables are white. Diameters 18, 20 and 25 cm come together in the set, so it is not three copies of one size.

Canopy, shades and cables

The canopy is 40 cm across and has three outlets. The manufacturer states that it is preassembled. The shades are 18, 20 and 25 cm in diameter, and the height figures listed are 33, 20 and 27 cm. Those are the dimensions of the individual shades, not one overall body.

Each textile cable is 500 cm. The manufacturer says it can be shortened individually, which is how you set the height of that drop. There is no single fixed overall height equal to the cable length. In a walking route the lower edge should stay clear of head height. Compare the 40 cm canopy with the fixing point and the spread of the drops with the table or stair.

Light, and what is not in the box

The shades are open at the bottom, so the light goes downward. Vertical cuts in the glass break it across the wall and ceiling. The set has three empty E27 holders. The manufacturer lists 40 W alongside the three holders and does not multiply that figure into a total. Dimming needs dimmable lamps and a suitable control in the installation. The fitting itself has no built-in dimmer. Voltage is 230 V, protection class I.

IP20 means this set is not for a bathroom or outdoors. Bulbs are not included.

Where this arrangement belongs

The manufacturer points to smaller stairwells and galleries, a living area, a kitchen island or dining table, and reception or consultation rooms. A 40 cm canopy and three different shades can mark a shorter table or part of an island. Over a long table, compare the spread with the length of the top before assuming one set covers it. In a living room it hangs as an accent, not as the only light. In a hall or on a stair, clearance after the cables are shortened is what matters. The form is modern and spare: a round white canopy, thin cables and cylindrical glass without arms.
