Skara 2950BL bollard light with 2 × 230 V type E sockets, LED 4000 K, DALI2, black – Norlys

Skara 2950BL is an 85 cm Norlys bollard made from an extruded aluminium profile powder-coated black (RAL 9005). What sets it apart from the other bollards in the series is a built-in power distributor: the body holds two 230 V type E sockets, so the bollard is a light point and an outdoor power point at once.

Light and control

The integrated LED module draws 7.7 W and the luminaire delivers 617 lm of 4000 K light, a neutral white, at CRI 80. The Ledil VSM lens gives an IESNA type V distribution — light spreads symmetrically all round the bollard rather than to one side of the path. The ULOR is 1.94%, so only a negligible share of the light goes upwards.

This version is controlled via DALI2: dimming and programming need an installation with a DALI bus and a controller. An ordinary phase dimmer will not work — the Skara series has separate dimmable articles without DALI.

Sockets in the bollard

The two type E sockets (16 A) take up to 3600 W in total from one appliance, or 2 × 1800 W from two. Type E is the standard used in France, Belgium and Poland; the series also has a variant with type F (Schuko) sockets.

Installation and wiring

The bollard is fixed with four bolts through ø7 mm holes on a 64 × 64 mm pattern. The concrete anchor (article 2934) is sold separately. The terminals take conductors up to 5 × 2.5 mm² and allow the supply to loop through to further luminaires, and the gland fits a cable up to ø12.5 mm. The manufacturer states that up to 82 of these luminaires fit on one B 10 A circuit breaker, and up to 130 on a B 16 A.

The housing is rated IP54 with IK08 impact resistance, so the bollard can stand outdoors without extra cover. The driver is built in, and the manufacturer quotes a lifetime of 100,000 hours for it.
