Skara 2951GR Graphite LED Bollard with Sockets by NORLYS

Skara 2951GR is an 85 cm bollard built from extruded aluminium profile, powder coated in the graphite shade RAL 7016. A bevelled head at the top carries LED lenses aimed downwards, and the front of the shaft holds two power sockets behind hinged flaps.

The manufacturer describes this model as a luminaire combined with an energy distributor. Two type F (SCHUKO) sockets rated 16 A are built in, and the permitted load is 1 × 3600 W or 2 × 1800 W. A mower, a pond pump or Christmas lighting therefore plugs in at the bollard itself, without running an extension lead from the house.

How much light it gives and how it is thrown

The whole luminaire draws 7.7 W, of which 5.8 W goes to the LED module, and emits 699 lm at 3000 K — warm white with a slightly yellow cast. The Ledil SCL lens gives an asymmetric IESNA type II / III distribution, stretched along a path rather than circular around the bollard; the manufacturer computes the photometry for a 0.85 m mounting height, which is this housing exactly.

1.68% of the flux escapes upwards (ULOR 1.68%, BUG rating B1-U1-G1). Dimming is trailing edge; the manufacturer names a Philips Xitanium TE driver, so the dimmer has to suit that type.

Mounting, wiring and build

The base anchors through four ø7 mm holes at 64 × 64 mm spacing; the concreting anchor 2934ZX0009 is a separate article and the manufacturer states outright that accessories are bought separately. The terminal takes conductors up to 2 × 4 mm² and allows the supply to be looped on to the next point, and the cable may have a round sheath up to 12.5 mm in diameter. The bollard weighs 6 kg and the carton measures 16.5 × 28 × 90 cm.

Light leaves through a hermetic lens of transparent PMMA; the optical kit is sealed to IP67 inside a housing rated IP54 and IK08. Protection class II means the luminaire needs no protective earth conductor. The manufacturer quotes 50,000 h for the driver and L90 above 109,000 h for the LED module; both are replaceable by a professional and carry their own part numbers.
