SLV 143070 is a black T-connector for the SLV 1 SYSTEM surface-mounted single-circuit (230 V) track. It joins three track sections in a T layout and can also serve as the power feed point for the whole run. The housing is polycarbonate.
Earth side and choosing the version
This is the version with the earth conductor on the outer side, on the left. Track sections in this system have to be joined so that their earth side lines up with the marking on the connector — SLV's instructions show this with an earth symbol at each arm. The version with the earth on the right is a separate article, 143080, so the side has to be matched to the planned track layout before ordering.
Dimensions, load and installation
The connector measures 17.2 × 10.4 cm with a height of 1.8 cm and weighs 108 g. According to SLV's instructions the system load is 16 A maximum at 250 V — the limit for all fittings supplied through this point. IP20 means it is for dry indoor use only.
The supply cables are connected under the connector's cover, which is removed with a screwdriver. The manufacturer reserves installation for a qualified electrician.
