Longitudinal connector 143092 joins two runs of SLV 1-circuit surface-mounted track into one straight line — mechanically and electrically at the same time.

One part instead of two

The coupler carries the conductors and holds both profiles, so extending a run is a single component rather than a separate clip plus a feed bridge. It slides into the open ends and tightens down, continuing the circuit together with the protective earth, because the system works in protection class I and earth continuity has to run the whole length. For the same reason the connector must be seated fully; a loose one is not merely a mechanical fault.

"Rigid" is not the same as "straight"

This model has no hinge and no articulation: the two sections stay on one axis and remain there. That matters in a way the spec sheet does not show — a track run reads as a single line across a ceiling, and any deviation at a joint is visible from the far side of the room. Direction changes are made with separate corner, T and X connectors; this one only extends a run in a straight line.

Check that the system really is 1-circuit

1-circuit and 3-circuit tracks look alike and get confused at the ordering stage. 143092 fits only SLV's 1-circuit surface-mounted system, in which every luminaire switches together; components for 3-circuit track, with its three independent circuits, are not compatible. If the design calls for splitting the fittings across several switches, what is needed is a different system, not a different connector.

The part measures 6.4 × 3.5 × 1.8 cm and weighs 24 grams, so once assembled it disappears into the joint. The housing is polycarbonate in a silver-grey that matches the track profile.
