Thoro LAGOM 120 ochre red LED wall lamp 4000K

The LAGOM 120 is a wall light shaped as a vertical bar 118.5 cm tall with a 4 × 7 cm cross-section. The aluminium profile is painted red ochre — a warm, terracotta shade — and a white diffuser runs along its face. The fitting is held off the wall on a short round arm.

How big it is and where to hang it

At 118.5 cm the bar reaches roughly from table height to the top of a door, so it lights the full height of a wall rather than one spot. It stands only a few centimetres off the wall, which lets it fit a corridor people pass in, and beside a bed without taking space on the bedside table.

The fitting is protection class I, so the wall point must carry an earth conductor — worth checking before buying if the wiring is old. IP20 reserves it for dry indoor rooms, and it runs on 230 V, 50 Hz. The whole fitting weighs 1.25 kg.

How much light it gives

The built-in LED module draws 15 W and gives 1776 lm, a little more than two old 60 W bulbs. The diffuser spreads that light along the whole bar, so no sharp point or visible cone appears on the wall.

At 4000 K the light is neutral white — cooler than the 2700 K of a filament lamp and calmer than daylight. Colour rendering is Ra 98 against the market's usual 80: walls, fabrics and faces read almost as they do in daylight, which matters at a mirror and in a dressing room. The manufacturer also states flicker-free drivers from TCI, Mean Well and KGP.

Build and series

The light source is permanently built in and supplied with the fitting, so no bulb has to be bought, but none can be replaced later either. The wall light is made in Poland.

LAGOM comes in three lengths — 90, 120 and 150 cm — and six body colours: black, white, gold, olive green, red ochre and beige. The series also includes ceiling lights, so the wall version can be matched with ceiling fittings in the same profile.
