Trysil 1023BL Lighting Pole Black LED 4000K DALI2 300 cm NORLYS

The Trysil 1023BL is a complete 300 cm lighting pole topped by two arms in a Y shape spanning 118 cm. The pole and arms are extruded aluminium profile powder-coated black (RAL 9005), and clear UV-stabilised polycarbonate covers the LED modules in the arms.

What light it gives

Two LED modules rated 19.7 W produce 3663 lm, and 3308 lm leave the fitting at 23.3 W. 4000 K is a neutral white. Ledil SCL lenses with an IESNA type II/III distribution lay the light in an elongated patch along a path or driveway, and only 0.9% of the flux goes upwards (ULOR), so the pole does not light the sky or windows above it. CRI 70 is enough for roads and paths, though colours look less true under it than under Ra 80–90. Flicker (Pst ≤ 0.1) and stroboscopic effect (SVM ≤ 0.1) sit at a level where no pulsing is visible.

Control

The Philips Xi driver supports DALI2 and NightDim. It leaves the factory set to maximum current, and Norlys programs other operating profiles by arrangement with its sales department. Control over DALI needs a DALI controller. The LED modules and driver are replaced by a professional service (repair kit ZS1047zx0009); the maker rates the modules at 100,000 h (L90B10) and the driver at the same.

Installation and supply

The pole weighs 23.3 kg net and arrives in a 323 cm long carton, which is worth planning for when the delivery is received. The 1259GA mounting adapter, 180GA ground anchor and 3091GA concrete anchor are ordered separately. The terminals take conductors up to 5 × 4 mm² and let the next pole be looped through with up to 5 × 2.5 mm²; the cable can be up to 13.6 mm across. The maker states how many of these poles fit behind one circuit breaker: B 10 A — 18, B 16 A — 29, C 10 A — 30, C 16 A — 49.

It is a protection class I fitting, so the earth conductor has to be connected. IP65 means dust-tight and protected against water jets, and IK10 is the highest impact rating.
