Trysil 1023AL Lighting Pole Light Grey RAL 9006 LED 4000K DALI2 300 cm NORLYS

Trysil 1023AL is a complete 300 cm lighting pole with two arms forming a Y, their ends 118 cm apart. The pole and arms are extruded aluminium profile, powder-coated in light grey RAL 9006. Each arm holds an LED module behind clear, UV-stabilised polycarbonate. The manufacturer intends it for gardens, private grounds and architectural schemes.

How it spreads the light

The luminaire draws 23.3 W and emits 3308 lm (the modules alone produce 3663 lm), which gives 142 lm/W. 4000 K is a neutral white. Ledil SCL lenses with an IESNA type II/III distribution lay the light out as an elongated patch along a path, alley or driveway rather than a round pool around the pole. Only 0.9% of the output goes upwards (ULOR), hence the BUG rating B2-U2-G2. A colour rendering index of Ra 70 is adequate for roads and walkways, though colours look less true under it than under Ra 80–90 light.

Control and service

The Philips Xi driver supports DALI2 and NightDim. It leaves the factory set to maximum current, and Norlys programs other operating profiles by arrangement with its sales department. Dimming over DALI needs a controller for that system – an ordinary phase dimmer cannot replace it. The LED modules and the driver are replaced by a professional service (repair kit ZS1047zx0009), and the manufacturer states a lifetime of 100,000 hours for both; for the modules this is the L90B10 figure.

Delivery, installation and wiring

The pole weighs 23.3 kg and arrives in a box 323 cm long – worth allowing for when taking delivery. The foundation is not included: the mounting adapter 1259GA, the ground anchor 180GA or the concrete anchor 3091GA are ordered separately. The terminals take conductors up to 5 × 4 mm², the next pole can be looped through with up to 5 × 2.5 mm², and the gland takes cable up to 13.6 mm in diameter. One B16 breaker can carry up to 29 of these poles, a C16 up to 49.

It is a protection class I luminaire and must be connected to the protective earth. IP65 means dust-tight and protected against water jets, IK10 is the highest impact-resistance class, and the 6/10 kV surge rating states what mains surges the luminaire withstands without damage.
