Lighting column Norlys Trysil 1061BL black RAL 9005 LED 17 W 4000 K 300 cm

Trysil 1061BL is an integrated lighting column: pole and luminaire form one body 300 cm tall, ending in a single arm that reaches out 71 cm. The 24 cm wide extruded aluminium profile is powder-coated black (RAL 9005), and the light leaves the underside of the arm through a clear, textured, UV-stabilised polycarbonate diffuser.

How much light it gives

Two LED modules with a combined 15.1 W sit in the arm; they produce 2920 lm, and 1719 lm leave the luminaire at 17 W. That is the amount of light for a path, a driveway or a forecourt lit from a height of 3 m. The light is diffuse and directed downwards in a hemispherical pattern, the ULOR is 0%, and the BUG rating B1-U1-G1 means low uplight and limited glare. 4000 K is a neutral white, and CRI 80 is standard colour rendering outdoors.

The column can be dimmed with a phase dimmer — the manufacturer states compatibility with both TRAILING EDGE (TE) and LEADING EDGE (LE) types.

Lifetime and servicing

The manufacturer gives the modules L80 102,000 h and L90 52,600 h, and the driver 50,000 h. The LED modules and driver are not meant to be replaced by the user, but a professional service replaces them, and Norlys supplies a repair kit for this luminaire, ZS1085zx0009 — a failed light source does not mean replacing the whole column.

Installation and connection

The column weighs 19.2 kg net and its base is 18 cm wide. It is installed according to the instructions supplied with it; mounting accessories are ordered separately. The terminals take wires up to 3 × 4 mm² and allow looping on with up to 3 × 2.5 mm², so several columns along a path run on one line. It is protection class I and needs a protective earth conductor. IP65 and IK10 impact resistance let the column stand unprotected, including where it may be knocked.

To order, Norlys makes this column in 2700 K, in protection class II, with surge protection or at another height, among other options. Its plain, angular form suits modern architecture, and it works in a park, along a driveway and on a terrace.
