The V-TAC VT-61003SQ-S Recessed Panel is a square LED fixture for mounting into a suspended ceiling, measuring 90.2 × 90.2 × 28.2 mm. The housing is white plastic, and the light source (a SAMSUNG chip) is built into the fixture and cannot be replaced.

How much light it gives and what kind

The panel draws 3 W and outputs 330 lm, which at an efficiency of 110 lm/W places it among fixtures for accent or supplementary lighting rather than a room's main light source — it works well installed as a row of several such panels. The 4000 K colour temperature is neutral white, neither warm nor cool, close to daylight. A CRI of Ra 80+ means faithful, though not fully natural, colour rendering.

Mounting

The fixture is fixed into the ceiling using spring clips on the sides of the housing — the cut-out opening needs to be slightly smaller than the panel's outer dimensions. A short supply cable is already attached at the factory, ready to connect to the 230 V mains. Input power is AC 220-240V, 50/60Hz.

Lifespan and intended use

The manufacturer rates the light source at 18 years of life assuming 3 hours of daily use, and more than 15,000 on/off cycles; the fixture carries a five-year manufacturer warranty. The panel is intended for commercial interiors such as shops.
