The V-TAC PRO VT-2207CCT is a round recessed LED panel in a white aluminium housing, 240 mm in diameter and just 12 mm thick. The light colour is chosen with a switch from three settings: 3000 K, 4000 K or 6500 K.
Ceiling installation
The panel needs a 220 mm cut-out and is held in the ceiling by the spring clips on the sides of the housing. The driver is included and connects to the panel by cable, so nothing else has to be bought to wire it up. It runs on 220–240 V AC, and IP20 means installation in dry rooms only. The manufacturer rates the housing's impact resistance at IK06.
How much light, and what kind
At 22 W the panel delivers 1900 lm, about 86 lm per watt, over a wide 120° beam. The colour is set once with the switch on the cable: 3000 K is a warm white for the home, 4000 K a neutral white for an office or kitchen, and 6500 K a cool white for places where contrast matters. The panel is not dimmable and works with an ordinary switch.
Colour rendering is CRI 80, and in the EPREL register the manufacturer declares an R9 of 0 — which means saturated reds and pinks look muted under this light. That is a typical level for general lighting in a corridor, office or shop; where colours matter, a fitting with a higher CRI is the better choice.
Lifetime and servicing
The LEDs are integrated into the fitting, so if it fails the whole panel is replaced rather than a bulb. The manufacturer states a lifetime of 30,000 hours and more than 15,000 switching cycles, and the light comes on instantly at full brightness. The energy efficiency class of the light source is G.
