Square recessed fitting for a GU10 lamp

V-TAC VT-782SQ-WH is a white square fitting made for recessed installation. It has one GU10 lampholder and is not an integrated LED luminaire: a compatible GU10 lamp is selected separately. This lets the lighting specification be chosen for the project without replacing the fitting itself.

The housing is aluminium. Its outside dimensions are 91 × 91 mm and its height is 25 mm; the manufacturer specifies a 75 mm cut-out. A white finish and a simple square face help the fitting sit unobtrusively in a suspended ceiling. Its IP20 rating calls for intended indoor use without exposure to water.

Prepare the installation

• check the 75 mm ceiling opening and available recess before building the ceiling;
• choose a GU10 lamp for the required light colour and output;
• isolate the electrical supply before work and have the connection made by a qualified person.

VT-782SQ-WH is a restrained spotlight fitting for modern interiors where a consistent white ceiling detail is wanted. The lamp is not built into the fitting and is not implied to be included.
