Nordlux MARLEE 2110701001 is a white linear wall light with an integrated 8.9 W LED, designed for a mirror and washbasin area. Its 50 cm length distributes light along the reflective surface, while 800 lm, 3000 K and CRI 90 provide warm illumination with good colour distinction.

Three installation methods

Nordlux permits mounting directly on a wall, on a mirror or on a cabinet. This allows the position to follow the furniture and cable outlet, but substrate thickness and load capacity must be checked before drilling. The fitting is 50 cm wide, 9.6 cm high and projects 14.2 cm. Position it so light reaches the face without obstructing a door or the movement of a mirrored cabinet.

800 lm, 3000 K and CRI 90

The integrated LED module is not user-replaceable, consumes 8.9 W and delivers 800 lm through a 120° angle. Warm 3000 K light softens the room, while CRI 90 helps distinguish skin tones and cosmetic colours. MARLEE is not dimmable, so assess its output against mirror size and other lighting before purchase. Source life is stated as 25,000 hours and the module has energy class F.

IP44 for a bathroom zone

IP44 denotes protection from solid objects over 1 mm and splashing water. MARLEE can therefore be used in a humid room at a position allowed by local bathroom-zone rules, but it is not made for immersion or a direct water jet. Its metal and plastic body is electrical Class II and needs no protective-earth conductor, although a qualified installer must still determine the correct distance from bath, shower and basin.

Cable or direct wall connection

Nordlux allows use of the supplied cable or direct connection at a wall outlet. Plan the supply route before installation so no lead crosses a wet zone or remains under tension. The fitting operates at 230 V and net weight is 0.355 kg. A qualified electrician should complete any fixed connection with power isolated. Switch the lamp off before cleaning and wipe it with a soft, slightly damp cloth without aggressive chemicals.
