Nordlux IP S13 40 in brushed steel is an LED wall light with a narrow rectangular light bar and a round wall base. Designed by Bønnelycke MDD, it combines a metal body with polycarbonate. A short arm holds the bar away from the wall, leaving its straight profile clearly defined. This exact finish carries manufacturer article number 2410401032.
A 40.3 cm bar for mirrors and pictures
The fitting is 40.3 cm long and 9 cm high, with an 11.8 cm projection dimension shown in the manufacturer's drawing. Compare these measurements with your mirror, picture frame and available wall space before deciding where to mount it. S13 is a separate wall fitting with one light bar, rather than an illuminated mirror frame or a component built into a mirror.
Nordlux specifies use near a mirror and as a picture light. The reflector has a 90° tilt range and a 310° turning range, allowing its direction to be matched to the surface you want to illuminate. Adjustment does not by itself guarantee even lighting across every mirror: the mirror's size and the position of the fitting still matter.
Included LED with a fixed light output
The integrated LED source is included and is not replaceable. There is no separate screw-in bulb to select. Power is 6.2 W, brightness is rated at 340 lm, and the 3000 K colour temperature produces warm white light. Consider these figures as local illumination alongside the other lights in the room, rather than assuming one bar will provide the entire room's lighting. This model cannot be dimmed; changing the reflector's angle changes the direction, not the brightness.
Brushed metal in a bathroom setting
The straight bar and smooth circular base suit modern and minimalist interiors. The brushed finish distinguishes this version from the white S13. Its IP44 rating includes protection against splashing water, not immersion. A bathroom mounting position must still meet the requirements for the relevant installation zone. The fitting is intended for indoor use with a 220–240 V supply. Nordlux specifies a five-year LED guarantee, which should not be read as a promise of unlimited operating life.
