Zambelis 25141 LED Pendant Light, 10 W 3000 K, Brushed Brass and Clear Glass, Ø30 cm

The Zambelis 25141 is a pendant built around a flat, clear glass disc 30 cm across. The whole fitting is only 12 cm tall. At the centre of the disc sits a cylinder of milky acrylic housing the LED module, held in a brushed brass sleeve; the ceiling rose is the same brushed brass.

How much room it takes and how it hangs

A 30 cm disc keeps good proportions over a round table or a worktop, and at 12 cm tall it does not block the view across the room. The ceiling rose is 13 cm across and 3 cm deep, so it covers an ordinary installation box.

The black fabric cable is 200 cm long and adjustable, so the drop is shortened during installation — over a table the lower edge usually ends up 70–80 cm above the top. The luminaire is class I, so it needs an earth conductor on a 220–240 V, 50/60 Hz supply, and it is intended for dry indoor rooms only.

How much light it gives and in what colour

The built-in LED module draws 10 W and delivers 1170 lumens — roughly what an old 75 W incandescent gave, enough to light a table but not a replacement for the main light in a large room. 3000 K is warm white, and a colour rendering index of Ra 80 is the usual level for general lighting.

The glass of the disc is colourless, so it neither dims the light nor shifts its colour: the output leaves the acrylic cylinder downwards, and the glass sheet lights up from below and throws part of it back up. The maker states colour binning at SDCM below 1, which matters when several are hung side by side — they light in the same tone.

Dimming and the life of the module

The fitting can be dimmed, but it needs a Triac phase-cut dimmer fitted in the wall box in place of the switch. No dimmer is included, and an ordinary switch gives full brightness only.

The LED module is built in permanently and cannot be replaced — once it is spent, the whole luminaire is changed. The maker quotes a life of L70B50 30,000 h, meaning that after that time half the modules still run at 70% of their initial output. The energy efficiency class is E.
