ZAPOPAN is a floor lamp built from a single slim light rod 140.5 cm tall, standing on a flat base of two arms that splay out in a V. The whole lamp is white. What lights up is the full length of the rod rather than a single point.
How much room the lamp needs
The rod is 140.5 cm high and the base occupies 58.5 × 39.8 cm of floor — a rectangle to set against the free space by a wall or in a corner, because the arms splay sideways and the lamp cannot be pushed flush against the wall.
The profile itself is narrow, so from the front you see a vertical line of light rather than the bulk of a shade. With the 80 cm of clear passage usually left beside furniture, the lamp wants a spot off the walking route.
How much light it gives and of what colour
A built-in LED module runs at 18 W and 1800 lm. That is more than twice the light of an old 60 W bulb, but spread along a metre and a half of rod — the output does not come from one point and draws no hard shadows.
3000 K is warm white: warmer than daylight, without the clearly yellow cast of 2700 K. The light source is included and permanently built in, so there is no socket and no bulb to choose.
Control and connection
The lamp plugs into an ordinary 230 V socket and brightness is set by a controller fitted on the cord — no wall dimmer and no separate remote are needed. Its IP20 rating means dry interiors only.
Build
The manufacturer names two materials: aluminium and silicone. The metal forms the profile and the base, while the silicone diffuser spreads the diode light over the whole length of the rod, so no individual points show through it.
