Zola is an outdoor LED wall light with a flat, round head mounted on a wedge-shaped arm. The body is 304 stainless steel painted grey, and a frosted glass diffuser closes the underside of the head. It belongs to the Elstead Coastal collection, part of Elstead Lighting's own range.
Size and mounting
The light is 8.1 cm tall and 15.1 cm wide but projects a full 23.2 cm from the wall β compare that with the space above a door, garage door or passage so the head is not at anyone's reach height. It weighs 1.8 kg. Where there is no flat wall by the entrance, an optional corner bracket is available: C-BKT2-BLACK, C-BKT2-BROWN or C-BKT5-BLACK.
The manufacturer rates it for exterior use at IP44, meaning protection against splashing water from any direction. 304 stainless steel resists corrosion. It is a Class I fitting, so it must be connected to an earth conductor.
Light
The light source is a built-in 16.5 W LED module giving 1500 lm β main-lighting level, comparable with a traditional 100 W bulb and enough to light a driveway or entrance. 3000 K is warm white. The head tilts on a side knob, so the light can be aimed where it is needed.
The LED module is permanently built in: there are no bulbs to buy, but it cannot be replaced by the user either. The fitting is not dimmable.
Style
The manufacturer describes Zola as modern and minimalist: a smooth, uniformly grey body with no ornament, where the only visible detail is the knob that tilts the head.
